2012 MINI Cooper Coupe price $22.000


Earlier, fans had known style of 2012 MINI Cooper Coupe through the concept version unveiled in 2009. The S Coupe owned power 181 horsepower at 5,500 revolutions/min and torque of 177 lb-ft at 1600 to 5000 revolutions/minute. Overboost function of S Coupe helps increase torque to 192 lb-ft at 1700 to 4500 revolutions/minute. For its part, the JCW Coupe carry on his power 208 hp, maximum torque 192 lb-ft respectively in 6000 and 1700 to 4500 revolutions/minute. If S Coupe can accelerate from 0-196 km/h in 6.5 seconds, the JCW Coupe 0.4 seconds faster. Maximum speed of the S Coupe and JCW Coupe respectively 228 km/h and 240 km/h.

According to Autoweek, the price of 2012 MINI Cooper Coupe starting at $ 22,000. The number corresponds to the MINI Cooper S Coupe, 2012 John Cooper Works Coupe is 25,300 and $ 31,900. Currently, MINI has not announced its official selling price of the 2012 Cooper Coupe.

Nowack Motors Releases Mini Cooper S Packages with up to 260HP


The latest Mini Cooper S and its JCW brother have gotten the option of more oomph from German tuner Nowack Motors.

The packages, dubbed N210, N230, and N260 are pretty self-explanatory: 210 horsepower (filter/ECU work), 230 horsepower (add an exhaust), and 260 horsepower.

The N260 adds a little extra Nowack touch: Nowack cams and downpipe, improved intercooler setup, and a rebuilt cylinder head with better flow.

VIDEO: Shocking MINI Racer Accident in Australia


A horrific crash involving a MINI Cooper S racer took place this past weekend at the Ipswich Raceway in Brisbane, Australia, when debutant racer Kain Magro, 23, literally cart-wheeled out of control over a barrier and into a crowd of spectators during a racing event that preceded the Ipswich 300 V8 Supercars race.

Miraculously, the driver was unhurt while only two people from the crowd were treated for minor injuries. Check out the video after the break.

WC50 Mini Special coming to America, Priced at $40,300


$40,300 for a tuned-up Mini? REALLY? That's the opening price - including a $700 shipping fee, for the 50 coming-to-these-here-shores versions of Mini's World Championship 50 (WC50) model (read all about it in out previous post here).

It features the JCW turbo'd 1.6 rated at 208 horsepower, all the other standard Works fixin's, and special green paint (to sound like it's worth the money, call it Connaught Green). Seriously though, it looks good. Just not THAT good.

VIDEO: All-Electric MINI 'E' Laps the Nurburgring Circuit in Under 10 Minutes


A lightly modified race-spec version of the all-electric MINI 'E' completed a lap of the legendary 20.8 km-long "Green Hell" in a time of 09:51.45 minutes recording a top speed of 187 km/h or 116mph, the BMW Group announced today. At the wheel of the electric racer for the hot lap was former DTM racing driver Thomas Jäger from Munich.

It goes without saying that the folks from the BMW Group didn't bring the MINI E to the notorious Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit to break any records but to show that their all-electric test vehicle can manage a respectable lap time on the 'Ring.
