2012 Cadillac SRX

The Cadillac SRX was introduced at the 2009 United states International Auto Show in Detroit, and is going down sale starting up at $33,330 for the base 3.0 Liter V6 powered front wheel drive version and climbs all the way up to $51,360 for the 2.8 Liter six cylinder Turbo Premium version. As the Cadillac of crossovers enters its second generation, the completely redesigned SRX delivers an engaged choice regarding look and feel and driving character to ordinary CUVs with its downsized fuel effective gas burning engines. The SRX comes regular using a front wheel drive layout and is provided with all wheel drive as an option. Now, we’re raising the standards even higher by providing the SRX with enhanced performance. The brand new engine can make the SRX more responsive for creating the highway, entering freeways from on-ramps and climbing hills.”

Anyway its more horses, the most recent 3.6-liters direct-injected V6 plant also boasts FlexFuel capability and wider rpm range for its high torque, which gives the driver more power in front of a wider choice of speeds and driving conditions.

Further accessories on the 2012 model year Cadillac SRX luxury SUV include general Bluetooth cell phone connectivity, a heated steering wheel on the luxury, performance and prime quality trim levels and door lock switches on the driver and passenger door panels. Additionally in Cadillac SRX, a new machined finish on the huge 20-inch rims set arrives standard on the performance and high quality trim levels.

2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe Starts from $38,990, 556HP CTS-V Coupe from $62,990

General Motors has just revealed pricing for its all-new 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe and its hotted-up CTS-V Coupe sibling that both go on sale in the United States in early August.

The standard CTS Coupe comes with a 3.6L Direct Injection V6 engine that delivers 304-horsepower and is available with a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission as well as rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.

Pricing, including destination charges, starts from $38,990 for the RWD model and from $40,890 AWD. That's a few thousand dollars less than one of its closest competitors, BMW's 300HP 335i Coupe and xDrive Coupe that start from $42,650 and $44,550 respectively.

GM's Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC Record 19.7% Increase in April Sales

GM's big four survivors (Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC) are on a roll: April sales have increased 19.7% over last year and calendar year sales are up 31%.

The Detroit automaker gives a lot of credit to its launch vehicles: Chevrolet's Camaro/Equinox, Buick's LaCrosse, GMC's Terrain, and Cadillac's SRX. According to the General, the "new" GM's launch vehicles account for a quarter of all GM retail sales.

New York Show: Cadillac's 2011 CTS-V Wagon puts the Germans on Alert

Cadillac has officially cranked its CTS Sport Wagon to 11, and it'll be on-hand at the upcoming New York International Auto Show.

Powered by the CTS-V's 556-horsepower 6.2 liter LSA and billed as a pre-production show car (kind of like Buick's Regal GS), the CTS-V Sport Wagon will be previewing what Cadillac expects to have in dealerships before the end of the year.

Painted in Midnight Silver paint cribbed from the Sixteen concept, the show car's interior will leather/Alcantara-trimmed seats, a leather-trimmed upper dashboard, and Sapele wood trim (from the Sapele tree, which is indigenous to tropical Africa).

Já faz mais de 60 anos que os americanos falam do desempenho do Cadillac, mas Inside Line quis provar em números este desempenho.

A CTS-V correu um quarto de milha em 12,5 segundos, o melhor desempenho era 12,7 da BMW M5 e do Mercedes E63 AMG. Ninguém acreditava que um Cadillac poderia ter um desempenho melhor que os alemães, mas tiverem: o CTS-V correu o circuito em 71,1 mph, enquanto o M5 e E63 decorreu se em 68,5 e 65 mph, respectivamente.
